Servoy Model Tool

What is it?

In short, it is a Serclipse ERD plugin to visualize Servoy relations in a graphical manner.

It allows to build visual schemas of your solutions using Servoy relations, tables and globals (and scoped variables in 6.1), in a very easy and efficient way.

The primary goal is to help documenting your solutions and help visualize all the relationships used in it, but you can also use it to build your relations visually, effectively documenting your solution while you are creating it!

It will automatically stay in sync with all the changes you make to your relations and database tables.

Why another tool?

Because there's none like it!

Of course you can find many ERD softwares around, some are specialized tools that can create a diagram by reverse-engineering your database, and some are more generic but you can still build schemas out of it, you can even find some that will work in Eclipse and might work in the Servoy IDE as well, but...

The problem is that none of these fantastic tools have the slightest idea of what Servoy's relationships are about, nor what the Servoy IDE is, and they will not manage to stay in sync with your solutions' changes.
